The U

Just watched the ESPN 30 in 30 special on the rise/fall and resurgence of the University of Miami's football program in the 80's and 90's, and wow was it fucking awesome. Love 'em or hate 'em you have to marvel at the insane amount of talent that has come out of this program over the past 25 years. For those of you who aren't that into college football, here's a list of past/present NFLers from the U.

QB- Testaverde, Kelly, Kosar
RB- Gore, McGahee, Portis (all 3 of whom were on the 2001 National Championship Team), Edgerrin James, Cleveland Gary
WR- Andre Johnson, Reggie Wayne, Michael Irvin, Santana Moss, Devin Hester...thats it
TE- Shockey, Winslow, Greg Olson
Defense- Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, Warren Sapp, Vince Wilfork, Jesse Armstead, Jonathan Vilma, DJ Williams, Antrel Rolle, Sean Taylor

If they had a decent QB, pretty sure an all-Miami team would be an NFL Playoff team. Just look at all the playmakers that they have on both sides of the ball, the WR/TE's alone are just sick. How in the hell do you cover Andre Johnson AND Reggie Wayne?!
